Voicethread

In my journey through voicethread.com, I learned this site offers many ways to use voicethread with teaching and learning.  The user can upload many types of media into one place that you can share with others by sending the link or embed in a webpage such as our class blog.  Those you share with can make comments by using various tools such as:  microphone, webcam, phone, text, or by uploading an audiofile.  Those comments will appear on the voicethread, so others users can see and then comment if desired.  The site uses an example of one way voicethread can be used in a debate presented by two students, other students can watch online and insert their comments or questions via video or text.  This seems like a great way for students that take courses online to connect a little more intimately with the professor and classmates.
